Lamborghini Huracán: God of Storm, Wind, and Fire
—- Friday May 15th, 2015
Huracán is the name of a revered Spanish fighting bull of the Conte de la Patilla breed. This particular bull was famed for its great courage and sense of attack. Huracán is also the name of the Mayan god of wind, storm, and fire. The name Huracán carries an aura of notoriety. This is good because Automobili Lamborghini has recently unveiled its long anticipated replacement since the discontinued Gallardo. Fresh from the skunkworks at Lamborghini’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy is the Huracán LP610-4.
Right off the bat, designer Filippo Perini has done a spectacular job reducing and simplifying the design language of his previous masterpiece, the Aventador. An elegantly functional design is present throughout the body of the Lamborghini Huracán Rental in Miami FL. The front bumper swallows and deflects the air over the car and directs air into the wheel wells to better cool the carbon ceramic brakes and create downforce without compromising the car’s drag coefficient. While the roofline falls to the rear of the side windows revealing air intakes for the engine, the skirts below the doors, direct air into the rear quarters to cool the rear brakes. This is not the typical “wham, bam, thank you ma’am,” loud and outrageous nightclub valet ornaments Lamborghini has made in the past.
The Huracán is equipped with Lamborghini’s ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management) system which controls the 602hp 5.2L V10 engine, the 7-speed dual clutch transmission, the LDS (Lamborghini Dynamic Steering), the magnetic suspension, and the electronic stability control. With a street, sport, and race mode available to the driver, the car is able to adapt itself to the conditions at the press of a button. This is a great day for Lamborghini and its customer base. No longer is the company making simple bedroom wall posters with heavy clutches, zero visibility, and broken air conditioning for playboys who simply don’t want a Ferrari. Lamborghini is making serious supercars that can compete directly with Ferraris. This is a great day for you as well, because the Huracán is now available for rent in the Miami area through mph club. With daily and weekly rentals available, you can turn heads as you turn corners on South Beach in a brand new Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4.
